Just want to thank you for the Master Bible you gifted to me in PSL Fl. 36 years ago. I still have it to this day. I know you must have given it to me for a reason. So it’s time to reopen and read.
Sorry to hear of your passing you are a good man. Your friend always . Donald Andreozzi

Rubin was my best friend growing up in Skokie. My twin brother and I would enjoy spending time with Ruby after school riding our Bikes, throwing the Football or having a baseball game at the Park. When we were 16 years of age my parents allowed Ruby, Ron and I to go to Miami to visit my sister at the U of Miami. We drove down and enjoyed the sites on the way. We partied on the beach day and night. Eventually Ron and I would make Florida our home and so did Ruby and Sandy. We spoke to Ruby just before he passed and those memories will stay will us forever.
RIP my dear friend.

I met Ruby in the 7th grade and have been best friends since then. From my Bar Mitzvah to my Wedding, he was always there. We met almost everyday to play baseball at Terminal Park after school. I got Rubin his first job at Dominick’s Food Store where we worked together in the produce department during high school. My twin brother gave him his drum set and then Rubin fell in love with the drums. We made music together with my brother and I playing guitars (Bass and Rhythm) though poorly and Rubin on the Drums, we had a blast together. Getting our first convertibles together with Rubin a beautiful Yellow Chevy Malibu and my Black Ford Torino GT. Great Times and memories. I went to college in Florida and stayed since graduation. Rubin and my brother and I found each other again when he relocated to Florida and we talked and tried to see each other often. I will miss him dearly. He was more than just a friend, he was family as my mother would always say. RIP Rubin.

I will always rember coming up to Chicago for your Bar Mitzvah and going out to lunch with you, your Father and brother Joey, and my Father. At the deli, you ordered a coke. The waiter took one look at you and brought you a glass of milk saying you were too small and scrawny and needed more vitamins. The milk obviously worked.

I will miss you greatly my dear brother and my heart is torn. You were too good for this ole earth and God decided it was time to be with him. I know its selfish of me, but it was much too soon.
I will miss your voice and face and all those sweet messages and emojis that you would always send. I will miss those unexpected but always welcomed messages just to say “hi” and expressions of love.
I will miss all your encouraging words to me and also your prayers.
Thank you for your love and welcoming acceptance of me in your family!
I will always be thankful for the time that we did have.
I take comfort knowing without a doubt that I will see you again one day. I’m glad you’re getting to celebrate there with family who’ve gone before you.
Until we meet again face to face, I will keep all of the wonderful memories of you in my heart and I will always smile when I think or talk about you. I love you Rubin, Much love always from your sister Rebecca <3 <3 <3

I met Ruby when he was about 10 years old. He was a sweet little boy then and grew up to be a very sweet and loving man. There was not a mean bone in his body. All he knew was to give. Nothing was more important to him than Sandi, his family and his love of animals, and not necessarily in that order. I to will miss his postings of dogs.
